I got a lot of interest and responses to my previous blog post on how to use Lightroom Presets from your PC on your Mobile and Tablet devices so I decided to create a video explaining how to do it.
With the Creative Cloud you get a subscription to Lightroom on your PC and your mobile devices. The Photography plan is the cheapest to do so at $11.99/Month.
When you load up Lightroom on your Mobile device there are only a few presets from Adobe supplied and no reference to using your own presets. It has been this way for well over a year now and so we tech savvy people had to figure out a way around this! Well look no further I have the solution for you! hehe
It’s not as good as a solution as on your desktop version of Lightroom where you are supplied thumbnail previews of the image, but it is good enough. To learn all about how to take your presets on your computer to your phone watch the video below!
Also, click the link below to go to Trey Ratcliff’s amazing Lightroom Presets. He has stuff for all types of photography including HDR presets and tutorials, ebooks, tutorials on Lightroom and beginners. The link should take 10% off but if it doesn’t, you can apply the coupon “LukeZemePhotography”.
I’d be keen to respond to any questions you have or feedback on the topic. I’d say Adobe are waiting for our Mobile devices to become more suited to Lightroom editing for this feature to be possible, but for now enjoy using this method.
Also, You may see my Lightroom Presets on my Phone in the Video. I was selling them through my store but am in the process of creating a new platform to sell them. They include HDR, Dramatic Landscapes, Gradients and Nostalgic Presets. Contact me @ email@example.com if interested in the pack, it has 50 Premium Lightroom and ACR presets for $14.95 along with a 9 page guide on how to install them.
Here is the image I created using one of the presets from Trey’s Lightroom Packs, combined with a 30 second exposure photo of mine from Sydney Harbour.
