Sydney Harbour is probably one of the most picturesque harbours in the world with iconic landmarks like the opera house, harbour bridge and luna park. There are many National parks around Sydney and these provide some wonderful trails for hiking and exploring. This is one such destination where visitors are able to traverse along sea cliffs and enjoy some stunning 360 degree views. This area is known as “The Gap” or “Gap Bluff” and is a mere 10-15 minute drive from the city CBD, located in Sydneys eastern suburb Watsons Bay.

I came at this time of the day to capture the warm morning light hitting the sea cliffs as the waves crashed into the rocks below. The lights on the cliff are from the path and rail for visitors to come and enjoy “The Gap” during the night.
