How cool is Sydney when Vivid is on? It’s a light installation show on a grand scale like no other. Some of the works are so large that they are projected on to buildings and even onto the Sydney Opera House. I wanted to get a birds eye view for everyone, so I climbed up onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge and pointed my camera down straight down. What I think turned out great in this shot is all the different colours that become more visible when you use long exposures like this. The boats in the harbour are also covered in bright neon lights and their trails heading in and out of Circular Quay look awesome. We spent 4 hours exploring the area you see in the photo and am looking forward to getting to some other locations to share the festival with you. It’s in Martin Place, Darling Harbour, as well as the docks and over at Luna Park.
