I got up nice and early to watch the sun rise over Bondi Beach this morning… I love that I live only 10 minutes drive from here and that I can come and be inspired to create art by this world famous beach at any time. Bondi is known as a mecca for backpackers and for good reason, during the summer this place is the perfect temperature for beach lifestyle. The other thing thats great about Bondi is that it is only a hop skip and jump from Sydney’s CBD and Sydney Harbour.

This particular composition I was playing with the rocks in the foreground, the moving ocean current and the stretch of coastline on the horizon. When creating your own photographs like this remember to utilise the rule of thirds in your compositions as it will help strengthen them.
