A warm sunset silhouette of the Sydney CBD shot from Macquaries chair in the Royal Botanical gardens. I love strolling along the waters edge here in the Botanical gardens because you get views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city. In this photograph I composed it so the suns position was to the right of the frame sending warm light across the image. It was taken with filters so that I could open up the shutter and create a long exposure image on a tripod.

Software:

I used the brand new On1 Photo 10, which I have been lucky enought to have been given an early beat copy to play around with. So far I’ve found the improvements to make the software lightning fast which is great for my creativity. You can preorder a copy of on1 photo 10. You get a lot of extra goodies if you preorder from Matt Koslowski and other stuff to help get your creative juices flowing.

Thanks Luke.
