I was lucky enough to view this sunrise at Clovelly beach recently. It poured down with rain and I was sheltering under the Life Savers club entrance when there was a lapse in the down pour. I stepped out onto the sand and got as close to the waters edge as I could without losing my camera gear to the waves. I used my telephoto lens which allowed me to zoom across the waters surface like I was a bird floating on the wind. Clovelly is an area just south of Bondi and as you can see it’s not all sandy beaches. It actually has many cliffs and rocky outlets where the waves of the Pacific Ocean slam into it. I love it ! and have always felt drawn to the the ocean in some form or another. You can see the township of Clovelly in the centre of the image and on the headland, left of the image, is a white fenced trail which leads along the cliffs which I walked along with my friend on a beautiful sunny day.
