We just had a gorgeous sunset in Sydney and I went to the waters edge in Vaucluse. This beach is called Tingara Beach and you can access it via the Hermitage Foreshore walk, which is a trail along the waters edge. It winds up and down old staircases, through sandy tunnels cut in the bush and along wooden boardwalks. The houses out here are palatial with everyone driving a Lexus or BMW. The 3 or 4 story houses have the most incredible views with private secluded beaches where they can access their boats. People love to come out here for picnics and enjoy the weekend swimming and sunbaking. Often you will be one of only a few groups out here due to access being limited and the 1-2km hike to arrive at the various locations. It’s a great place to go for a jog and do some exercise too.
I wanted to stress the silhouettes in this composition- because we had 3 important elements- the harbour bridge, boats and the Sydney CBD. Then top that off with a colourful sunset, so colour was the 4th element as well.
So I started in Lightroom where I used one of my Lightroom presets. I sell a pack of 50 of them here so everyone can have an amazing image at the click of a button! – Luke Zeme Lightroom Preset Pack Link . There are also a bunch of HDR ones to go with Landscape presets.
After the Lightroom Preset I then went into On1 Photo which has 100’s of photo filters for you to play with, each one can be adjusted to how you like it. As well you can layer the presets and paint areas that you want to keep and throw away. You can buy OnOne Perfect Effects by itself buy I have the entire suite because I love photography! haha
