In Dubai everything is done on a grand scale and even the marina is out of this world. Walking around on the waters edge I was towered over by dozens of tall skyscrapers. A blue hour shot of the Dubai Marina in the United Arab Emirates. Shot from the boarwalk right on the waters edge, a perfect place to eat or take a walk. I came here in the day on my way to a place called atlantis, which is right on the tip of the man made island in the shape of a palm. It’s summer and the temperature in the day is mid to late 40’s and in the night its mid to late 30’s. So no matter what time of the day you visit it is blistering!

Shooting Dubai in the summer is almost impossible due to the heat. In most cases as soon as I took my lens cap off the lens would fog up with mist from the humidity. Summer is considered the quiet season and now I know why, haha.

My advice to people wishing to go to Dubai for photography please go around December/January as it will be much cooler temperatures. But if you can handle the heat then the middle of the year has the added bonus of much smaller crowds.
