This shot combines two of my favourite styles of photography- Seascape and Night Cityscape Photography. I love doing these long exposure photographs combining water and rocks, the way the water moves in and out of small crevices often creating patterns reminiscent of an oil painting. It brings new meaning to the term “light painting” but really all photographs are a kind of light painting.
It’s only with the advancements in camera sensors that I was able to bring out so much detail in the rocks in the foreground, whilst keeping the amount of digital noise to a minimum.
