The Rocks, seen in the right portion of this image, is an area of Sydney Harbor between Circular Quay and the base of the Sydney Harbor Bridge. I’m sure it’s function 150 years ago was very different from today but now it is home to some fine dining, quaint English pubs and a motley montage of old and new. It’s great for grabbing a pint or two or just going for a stroll near the waters edge in the best harbor in the world! I also love how accessible the ferry terminal makes any water front region within the Sydney area. You can quickly pop on a ferry and within minutes you are at Taronga zoo, Luna Park or Manly beach.
